You can take a leisurely drive from one end of the County to the other on Pacific Coast Highway from Seal Beach to San Clemente in about 2 hours. You'd be going through Huntington Beach, known world wide as Surf City, which is known for its annual National Surfing competition. Then you'd be driving through opulent Newport Beach, Corona Del Mar and Newport Coast. Actually Newport Coast and Corona Del Mar are communities within Newport Beach. A few minutes later you'll find yourself in one of the most beautiful coastal towns in the world: Laguna Beach. Laguna Beach is well known for its artists and the yearly "Pageant of the Masters", the "Saw Dust Festival" and many other art exhibits. Going past Laguna Beach youll be heading towards Laguna Niguel, a relatively new community but with absolutely stunning homes and ocean views. Its also home to the 5 star Ritz Carlton hotel & resort.Next is the community of Monarch Beach, a Dana Point Community with gorgeous vies from almost every home. Then youll drive through Dana Point, known for its yachts harbor and wonderful restaurants and finally to San Clemente with its small town atmosphere and un-crowded beaches. You have to see one of its newest communities Talega of San Clemente.
Even though were proud of our beaches, were equally proud of our inland cities and towns. The beach-close cities of Fountain Valley and Costa Mesa are only minutes from the ocean.Laguna Hills, Mission Viejo, Lake Forest and Aliso Viejo are very beautiful inland cities built mostly on hillsides with homes ranging in price from $400,000 into the millions. Irvine, known for its great Universities and well planned community, Tustin for its lay back atmosphere, Orange for its antique malls and its beautiful hills, Santa Ana for the seat of our County government, and Garden Grove for its Strawberry Festival ,Stanton is a great place to get an excellent education.Schools in the Garden Grove Unified School District have been rated as some of the best and safest in the county. Westminster is known for Little Saigon and Buena Park is home of Knotts Berry Farm. And, were not done yet ... Anaheim and Anaheim Hills, home of Disneyland and the Anaheim Angels, Fullerton, known for its excellent colleges, Cypress for its great community college, Los Alamitos for its famous horse race tract, La Habra, Brea and Placentia are three beautiful places to live in and Yorba Linda home of the Nixon library and the resting place of President & Mrs. Nixon. With one of the lowest crime rates in Orange County, La Palma is a place where you can rest easy and enjoy hometown living. Of course I left out the Canyon communities of Rancho Santa Margarita and Coto De Caza as well as the very luxurious city of Villa Park, the equestrian community of Orange Park Acres, the opulent hills communities of Lemon Heights & Cowan Heights and lets not forget the newest city in Orange County, Laguna Woods, an all senior community.Last, but not least, the famous town of San Juan Capistrano, where the swallows have been coming home every year on March 19, the feast of St. Joseph.
