Huntington Beach

Huntington Beach is known as the worldwide Surf City USA, it is one of Californias best coastal playgrounds.  American destinations for teenagers and their parents. Huntington Beach boasts eight and a half miles of scenic, accessible beachfront, the largest stretch of uninterrupted beachfront on the West Coast.

Come to play, come to relax, and come to live in gentle ocean breezes and the amazing beach culture of Huntington Beach. This is my dynamic coastal city.  We enjoy a year round sunny Mediterranean-like climate, idyllic setting, and brilliant
sunsets.
Even though Huntington Beach is home to more than 195,000 residents, it is one of the safest cities in the       country, something my neighbors and I take a lot of pride in.

The crown jewel of Huntington Beach truly is the wide expanse of beautiful and spacious beaches. Grab your binoculars or a seat close to the action as you watch professional sporting events such as the U.S. Open of Surfing, the surfing and extreme sports festival attracting world-class athletes from across the globe.  The event also features skateboarding, inline skating and BMX biking competitions, as well as music and a huge expo.  You can get close at the AVP Pro Beach Volleyball and Van's World Championship of Skateboarding. Just this year we hosted the X Games, which is broadcast nationally on ESPN.  I hope you are used to excitement, because Huntington Beach has it in abundance.

In Huntington Beach there are so many great ways to take in this unique southern California lifestyle.  Our Parks and Recreation features one of the largest recreational piers in the world, public parks, riding stables and equestrian trails, a marina, a wildlife preserve, and an eight-mile biking, inline skating, jogging, and walking trail along the ocean.  There is nothing like a jog or bike ride with the fresh ocean breeze against your face.  I also love trying to keep up with the kids at the Annual Pier Swim.  If youd like to rest for the day, take in some surf history and culture at the Huntington Beach International Surfing Museum.system to provide a strong cultural foundation. And my favorite event of the year is the Cruise of Lights through the Huntington Harbor where you can see the holiday lighted homes and holiday decorations during this event, sponsored by the Huntington Harbor Philharmonic Committee and benefiting local school music programs.  Huntington Beach isnt just a great place to live but it is also a great place to visit.

Surf City is such a fantastic destination that each year about 11 million visitors flock to its shores
and sporting events.  This is always good for business.

The quality of life in Huntington Beach is enhanced by its great reputation as one of the safest cities by City Crime Rankings and the quality of the community services offered to its citizens. The educational system, with five city high schools and 35 elementary schools, is excellent. Huntington Beach has its choice of community college with  Golden West Community College in Huntington Beach and Orange Coast Community College in local Costa Mesa. Four years are nearby UC Irvine and Cal State Long Beach and Fullerton.  We enjoy fantastic community events like the Duck-A-Thon, a charity event in which thousands of rubber ducks are sold to the public and tagged with numbers for entry into a race. During the race, they are launched from the Huntington Beach Pier and recaptured by a team of volunteers as they float ashore. Prizes are awarded for the first ducks to arrive on shore.  If you love cars, then I recommend checking out The Huntington Beach Concours, a fun event where car lovers and enthusiasts can come to enjoy themselves, while knowing that they are also helping a worthy cause, The Huntington Beach Library Children's Resource Center (rated # 1 in California).  And then we have The Huntington Beach Art Center and the Huntington Beach Playhouse, which provide a wide variety of fine arts, along with an excellent library

Huntington Beach
is home to great companies like Quicksilver INC, Equity Office Properties Trust, The Boeing Co., Simple Green, Cambro Manufacturing Co., Dynamic Cooking Systems, and C & D Aerospace, giving Huntington Beach residents employment opportunities with high profile companies in a myriad of industries. The city's average family household income is $101,579, highest in the nation based on the top 100 largest cities in the country

Life is good in Huntington Beach, in fact its better than good.  Living here is like a beach vacation everyday.  Come live your dream in Huntington Beach.
